Vetsource's Fall 2022 product updates are focused on providing easy-to-use solutions to ensure your patients receive the medication and nutrition items they need. Take a closer look at what we added to our industry-leading prescription management experience:

Ability to Modify Prescription Requests

We’re making it easier than ever to get patients the products they need by adding an option to suggest an alternative product in response to a client’s request.

  • A new ScriptShare® is sent after responding to the request
  • Reduce time spent managing client communications regarding inappropriate requests
  • Strong processes help patients receive accurate therapy in a timely manner

This functionality will be made available at the end of September for all home delivery orders.  Later this year, this functionality will also apply to orders received through select retail partners.

User-Friendly Updates to Your Online Store

New categories, sign-in options, navigation features, cart options, and more to enhance the shopping experience for your clients.

  • Featured banners highlight current promos and deals
  • Improved product discoverability
  • Sign-in option to view previous orders and recommendations

PetMail® Browse Abandonment Campaign

Clients of PetMail-enrolled practices1 will receive a triggered email every two weeks reminding them of previously viewed items, encouraging them to complete a purchase.

  • Provide a highly personalized experience
  • Encourage clients to revisit your online store
  • Help drive clients to the products they need

More Timely Reminder Emails

If your practice participates in PetMail, clients who meet specific parameters2 currently receive emails reminding them to refill an active prescription. Starting in early October, clients will receive a reminder email within a week of being past due for purchasing their refill. 

  • Encourages more immediate action to refill the prescription through your online store
  • Frequency of one email a month remains the same
  • Increases compliance and drives continuity of care

1. This campaign applies to practices enrolled in PetMail prior to Sept. 1 who have not opted out of participating. Contact your practice success representative for questions about inclusion. 

 

2. Parameters include: client has previously filled a prescription through Vetsource Home Delivery, has an active prescription on file and are past due from purchasing a refill through their veterinarian’s online store.
